Maternity Session at Cape

I have known Kaitlynne since grade school and we have been friends since we met!  And I met Demaris when I used to work at my local Boys & Girls Club.  I was so happy when Kaitlynne came to me and asked if I would shoot her maternity photos at the beach.  Of course, and obviously, I said yes!  So one Saturday night, we headed down to Cape Henlopen State Park and captured some great shots of their growing family.

We started out at the Fishing Pier and we were planning on getting some shots near the water, but since it had been really warm and nice out that day, the beach had a lot of people on it.  So we nixed that idea but grabbed a few on the path instead.  We then moved over to Herring Point where the temperatures quickly dropped and the beaches were quite empty!  The wind kicked up pretty good and we all actually got really cold!  But we didn’t let that stop us, nor Demaris’ girls, who had no fear getting their legs in the water when their part of the picture taking was over.  Kaitlynne still killed it in one of my new maternity gowns even with the wind and temperatures against her.

That little baby girl is going to have the best big sisters she could ask for; they are so excited for her arrival, as are mom and dad.  Below are just a few of my favorite’s from Kaitlynne and Demaris’ maternity session at Cape Henlopen State Park!
