Beach Maternity Photos at Cape Henlopen

On a cold and windy Sunday afternoon, I met up with Lindsay and Brenton for their beach maternity photos at Cape Henlopen State Park.  I know the most ideal time to be at the beach is when it is warm and sunny, but there is something so peaceful when you are there when its cold and you have the place to yourself.  We started off at the fishing pier, then made our way over to Herring Point, jumping in random areas along the way.  Even though the wind was pretty wicked, Lindsay and Brenton were troopers and we were able to get some pretty amazing photos.  Lindsay even let me put her in one of my new red maternity gowns at the end (when I know she was frozen) so I could finally have some amazing images to show off.

These two are going to be great parents and I cannot wait to see what lies ahead for them and their growing family.  Preparing for motherhood can be overwhelming and scary, but Lindsay had such a calming vibe about her that I know she is going to be just fine, and be one awesome mother.  Take a look of some of my favorites from their beach maternity session at Cape Henlopen State Park below!
