Lewes Covered Bridge Wedding || Tricia & Paul

When I first met Tricia & Paul last year, it was cold outside and I remember eating a huge bowl of Broccoli Cheddar Soup from Panera Bread to try and warm me up before they arrived.  After the near 100 degree weather we have had here lately, I can’t even remember what it’s like to walk outside and not instantly start sweating!  Quickly after we introduced ourselves, we started talking about wedding day options and details, and knew instantly that their Lewes Covered Bridge Wedding would be unique and simply romantic.

The day of Tricia & Paul’s wedding they were calling for showers, but we all had our fingers crossed it would hold off until the reception that way their guests had time to make it back to the barn.  Towards the end of the ceremony, sure enough, the sprinkles started (which you can even see in some of the photos) but they fell ever so lightly to not disturb the officiant or guests.  Once it was over, all of the guests made it into the barn just in time for the bottom to fall out with me, Tricia & Paul’s family huddled safely under the Covered Bridge!  After a good ten minutes, it finally lightened up to continue on with the family and bridal party photos, where we embraced the rainy situation and busted out clear umbrellas for some cool shots!

In the reception, Tricia had decorated all the tables with mix-matched china her and her mom had picked up at random antique stores and yard sales, and paired them with bouquets of garden flowers as centerpieces.  With a random collection of curated coffee mugs displayed as favors ranging from “Welcome to Florida” to “I Love NY”, the guests also got to wear their stick-on mustaches that were attached with the place cards.  Their wedding was nothing short of fun and romantic and I had a blast sharing this day with them!  Check out just a handful of my favorite images from their big day, below!
